Life in the modern world allows us to burn the candle at both ends AND in the middle, creating states of burnout and exhaustion for many of us.
Decades of research has shown that certain types of meditation allow the body to enter a state of rest deeper than sleep, while the mind remains active and alert. This creates profound rejuvenation and healing, even if we only practice for a short time each day. In order to receive the benefits of meditation, there is a set of skills you need to learn and have at your fingertips.
In this experiential workshop, we will be exploring a variety of doorways into meditative restfulness. The techniques you’ll learn are surprisingly natural and instinctive.
The combined teaching experience of Dr. Lorin Roche, and his wife Camille Maurine spans 6 decades. With a doctorate from The University of California in meditation research, Lorin is a prolific author on the subject of meditation, having written many books including the best selling “Meditation Made Easy“, as well as “The Radiance Sutras”. Together they penned “Meditation Secrets for Women”.
I have studied extensively with both Lorin and Camille and am honoured to be their first certified meditation teacher in Australia.
